Pool Hall

I was traveling about in a village recently on my bike when I came across the most amazing pool game. Pool is incredibly popular pastime here with the men in towns and larger villages. In fact, many clubs exist and compete against one another for bragging rights on the weekends. These boys are a bit young to be members of a club so they have made their own table with the supplies they had available to them. It is a little hard to see with all the hamming they are doing for the camera, but they are using a piece of wood covered in scrap felt, marbles for balls, and a long piece of straw for the cue. They had a blast playing and I was reminded of how the toys you created yourself as a kid were always the best. I still remember the hours of fun my brother and I would have with an empty refrigerator box or things we cobbled together with scraps of wood from the workshop.
